Unit-III
Basic concepts and principles: Organization-types and importance, Hierarchy, Unity of Command, Span of Control, Line- Staff Agencies, Authority and responsibility, supervision, communication, Control.

Question paper pattern for MA (Public Administration) semester system
1. Question pattern will be same for all four semester in Public Administration
2. Marks will be divided on 80:20 pattern; 80 marks for theory examination and 20 makes for internal assignment
3. The syllabus is divided in four units of each paper
4. There will be five questions of 16 marks covering all the four units
